About SANTIAGO AMÉZQUITA

Santiago Amézquita is an L.A.-based music composer, producer, and guitarist from Bogotá, Colombia. His passion for film music led him to study and explore music in service of visual arts working in a variety of styles, from modern electronic to fully orchestral. He studied at the renowned MFA program of Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago.

As a composer, he has worked on three feature films, several short films, documentaries, and animation projects that have been premiered at various festivals around the world. Additionally, he has written additional music for The Snoopy Show S3 (Apple TV), American Pain (HBO), Misfortune (Amazon Prime), and an upcoming feature film starring Danny Trejo named Seven Cemeteries.

At the moment, Santiago continues collaborating with filmmakers, animators, and producers while adding his unique sound to different forms of visual expression.
